Come November and the Primary section is abuzz with
activities that nurture and showcase the talents of our tiny tots in fine arts,
performing arts and literary activities. The Vidyalayas of the region are
divided into small clusters and competitions are held between the cluster
vidyalayas ranging from recitation of poems, performing group dances, singing
group songs, craft work, collage work, drawing and painting and memory test.
The enthusiastic preparations for these competitions are awe inspiring. The
seriousness of these little children in participation never fails to astound
the teachers and the judges. The day long celebrations which are held annually
to commemorate Children’s Day is a much anticipated and cherished moment in the
lives of the Primary students.
